What it is like
Playa San Miguel de Cabo de Gata is an extensive urban beach of dark sand reaching 2,500 metres in length and 90 metres in width. Its seafront promenade and vegetation are integrated into the Parque Natural Marítimo Terrestre de Cabo de Gata-Níjar, declared a Biosphere Reserve. The urban frontage coexists with moderately wavy waters and usual windy conditions. It is reached by car via the AL-3115, with parking for more than 100 vehicles; it also offers toilets, showers, nautical services and adapted facilities.
