What it is like
Playa Río Sandeu, also called Río Sandeo, belongs to Fene but lies very close to the urban centre of Redes, in Ares. It is an isolated beach of dark sand, vegetation and calm waters, with an urban frontage that contrasts with its low occupancy. Its 210-metre length and 15-metre width form a narrow, elongated beach. It is reached by car via the AC-124, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles; the details include toilets, showers, foot-washing stations and bins, although they warn that the showers are deteriorated.
