Playa Pozuelo is a small, urban beach of dark sand within a developed area of Almuñécar. Its 226 metres of length and 30 metres of width are accompanied by a promenade and vegetation, with calm waters and usually high visitor numbers. Access is easy on foot, by car or by boat from the N-340, although the parking area has fewer than 50 spaces. For a comfortable stay it offers toilets, showers, a food service, sun-lounger and parasol hire and boating services.
