What it is like
Playa Playazo, also known as El Chucho, is Nerja’s long, wide stretch outside the most urbanised area. Its 1,700 metres in length and 30 metres in width combine dark sand, vegetation and a semi-urban frontage, with moderate waves and medium occupancy. One end is specifically called El Chucho, a reference that helps identify the beach along the local coastline. The main access is by car from the N-340, with more than 100 parking spaces; it also has catering, showers and boating services.
