What it is like
Playa Petis is a small urban beach between the road and a cetacean industrial facility, at Punta Pescadoira. Its dimensions explain its sheltered character: it is 50 metres long and barely 3 metres wide, with golden sand and an urban coastal frontage. It has moderate waves and is usually lightly occupied. Access on foot is difficult, although the PO-551 runs alongside the beach and there is an interurban bus service 0.5 kilometres away; it also has foot-washing facilities and cleaning services.
