What it is like
Playa Melicena is a quiet urban beach integrated into the settlement of Melicena and accompanied by a semi-urban frontage. Dark sand covers 456 metres of length and 40 metres of width, with usually calm waters and a promenade. Its facilities are limited but sufficient for everyday use: toilets, showers, litter bins and cleaning, as well as the reference of Adra marina. It is easily accessed on foot or by car via the N-340, with fewer than 50 parking spaces, an interurban bus 300 metres away and adapted access.
