Playa Lameira is a rustic, isolated sandy beach occupying a rocky promontory known as Punta Lombreira, which is the origin of its name. The beach extends for 250 metres, although its average width is only 5 metres, with white sand and a dune frontage with vegetation. It forms part of a natural area included in the Natura 2000 Network and has low visitor numbers and moderate swell. Access is easy on foot and the nearest road is the CC-550; there is also an interurban bus connection from Vilagarcía to A Illa de Arousa.
