What it is like
Playa La Chapineta retains the atmosphere of a small fishing village, although its frontage is urban and accompanied by a seafront promenade. The beach combines golden sand and gravel over 750 metres, with a width of 15 metres, moderate swell and medium visitor numbers. It can be reached on foot, by car or by boat; it has adapted access, parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus. Foot showers, catering, cleaning and a diving area complete its facilities.
