What it is like
Playa Illa is a semi-urban beach of white sand measuring 400 metres in length but only 13 metres in width. Its waters are described as clean and calm in the absence of wind, within a semi-urban frontage accompanied by vegetation and a promenade. Visitor numbers are high and the usual waves are moderate. It is easily accessible on foot or by car via a paved local road less than 50 metres away, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus service two kilometres away. There are toilets, showers, food services and adapted access.
