What it is like
Playa Fontaiña, also called A Sirenita, combines sand and rock on a semi-urban beach in Vigo surrounded by vegetation. The beach is 280 metres long and 35 metres wide, with fine sand, an anchorage area and sheltered conditions, in a space with high visitor numbers. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with signs, an urban bus and adaptations for people with reduced mobility. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, litter bins, cleaning, anchorage and surveillance with first aid during the summer season.
