Playa del Varador is an urban beach of dark sand created by dredging the seabed, situated between the coves of Santiago Bernabeu and Santa Pola del Este. Its 400-metre length and 30-metre average width form part of a highly occupied frontage, with calm waters, a seafront promenade and an anchorage area. Access is easy on foot or by car via the N-332, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service. Facilities include toilets, foot-washing facilities, food and drink, sun-lounger, parasol and nautical-equipment hire, as well as sports and children’s areas.
