Playa del Carregador is an extensive urban sandy beach of golden sand, 850 metres long and 70 metres wide. Its semi-urban frontage combines a promenade, vegetation and a protected dune system, especially relevant in the southern area because of its ecological importance. It has moderate waves and high occupancy. Access is by car via the N-340, with fewer than 50 parking spaces; it has access for people with reduced mobility, toilets, showers and water-sports hire.
