Playa del Ahuir retains the character of a wild and isolated beach, despite offering the services needed for its use. Its 1,760 metres of golden sand and average width of 70 metres lie in a natural environment under comprehensive protection, with vegetation and Red Natura 2000. Occupancy is low, the waters are calm and wind is present; windsurfing competitions take place here and nudism is permitted. It is easily reached on foot from the CV-605, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and an interurban bus service 1 kilometre away in summer.
