Playa de Terranova is located in Oliva, Valencia, and is also known as Terranova-Burguera. It is a natural coastal stretch under special protection, linked to Red Natura 2000, extending from the municipality of Piles to the groyne of Club Náutico de Oliva. It is 1,750 metres long and 80 metres wide. Its surface consists of fine golden sand, and the landscape includes a dune belt beside the beach. The provincial tourist listing describes it as one of the remaining wild beaches in the Mediterranean and as a largely non-urban space.
