What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

Playa de San Martin is a long and very narrow strip of sand accompanying the town of Santoña. Its 1,000 metres of length and barely 10 metres of width combine sand and cobbles along an urban frontage, within the protected complex of the Santoña, Victoria and Joyel marshes. Its calm waters contrast with the high attendance. The seafront promenade and anchorage area complete the space, which is easy to reach on foot or by car via the CA-141, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles.
