What it is like
Playa de Muro is an extensive white-sand beach reaching 4,200 metres in length and an average width of 70 metres. Its semi-urban frontage retains vegetation and a protected setting, while the calm waters and shallow depth highlighted in the record make it particularly suited to families with children and people with disabilities. Occupancy is high and there is an anchorage area. Access is easy on foot or by car via the Ma-12, with more than 100 parking spaces, an interurban bus service and a wide range of services, food and drink establishments and water-sports hire.
