Playa de La Ribera is one of Sitges's most popular and busiest beaches because of its location at the heart of the urban centre. Its golden sand forms a strip 260 metres long and 36 metres wide, opening onto an urban frontage with a seafront promenade, calm waters and an anchorage area. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with signposted access, parking and interurban transport. The listing also highlights adaptation for people with reduced mobility, including an amphibious chair and adapted bathing facilities, together with showers, food services and hire of sun loungers, parasols and nautical equipment.
