What it is like
Playa de La Pineda is an extensive urban beach 2,430 metres long and with an average width of 30 metres, also known as Els Prats in the north and Racò in the south. Golden sand and calm waters form part of a frontage with a seafront promenade, very busy and prepared for different activities, including an area reserved for scuba diving. Access is easy on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus service. There are adapted toilets, showers, catering, nautical equipment hire and a yacht club.
