What it is like
Playa de La Mar Xica occupies a long gravel stretch north of the urban centre of Benicarló. It is 1,000 metres long and 20 metres wide, but retains a natural setting and occupancy described as medium, without a large influx of visitors. The usual waves are moderate. Access is by car from the N-340, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban connection; the beach itself has showers, toilets, catering and cleaning services.
