What it is like
Surrounded by pine trees, Playa de La Granadella is a small shore of rock and gravel in a natural area under special protection. It is 200 metres long and 20 metres wide on average, with calm waters, an anchorage area and high occupancy. It forms part of the Red Natura 2000 network and a protected natural area, features that explain its landscape character. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the Cabo de la Nao track, with more than 100 parking spaces. There are foot-washing facilities, food and drink, sun-lounger and parasol hire and a diving service; rockfall danger is also noted.
