What it is like
Playa de la Barca Maria extends between Torrent de Vallmajor and the boundary with Montgat, within Badalona's continuous urban area. Its 660 metres of golden sand and 40-metre width form a beach with a seafront promenade, calm waters and usually high occupancy. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the N-II, with interurban transport and Montgat station 500 metres away. The frontage has accessible toilets, showers, drinking water, catering and a cleaning service.
