What it is like
Playa de L'Almarda extends as a broad band of fine golden sand, with gravel in some stretches, over 2,030 metres and with an average width of 50 metres. Its natural character and low-density residential development are associated with a specially protected natural environment and vegetation, while the calm waters create an open coastal setting. Occupancy is medium and there is an anchorage area. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the N-340, AP-7 and A-7-E15, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service in summer.
