Playa de Forti is the best-known and busiest beach in Vinaròs, an urban beach of golden sand reaching 500 metres in length and 20 metres in average width. Its waters have moderate waves and the promenade accompanies a frontage with water-sports services and hire. Access is by car via the N-340, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service. In addition to toilets, showers, foot-washing facilities, catering and a sports area, it has a biblioplaya, described in the entry as a library at sea, a distinctive local service.
