Playa de Comillas lies beside the town itself as an urban beach of golden sand, 900 metres long and 40 metres wide. The seafront promenade and direct relationship with the town centre are essential parts of its character, together with high public attendance and moderate, sometimes windy, wave conditions. It is easy to reach on foot or by car via the CA-131, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus. Toilets, showers, foot-washing facilities, food, sun-lounger and parasol hire, and cleaning services complete the facilities.
