Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de Can Comes is a very long, isolated beach of fine golden sand, 709 metres long and with an average width of 125 metres. Its defining feature is its setting: it is partly bounded by the Integral Natural Park of Aiguamolls de l'Empordà and lies beside the Fluvià and Muga rivers, in a landscape of bird reserve and vegetation. The beach has moderate waves and windy conditions, with the possibility of nudism. It is accessed on foot or by car from the C-260, with parking, while services are concentrated in the two campsites at its ends.
