Playa de Calafell is an urban beach of golden sand extending for 1,100 metres, with a width of 50 metres. Its seafront promenade and adjacent pedestrian area, with restricted traffic, structure an urban frontage of calm waters and high occupancy. Access is easy on foot, by car or by boat, with more than 100 parking spaces, interurban transport and a commuter train connection from Barcelona. Facilities include adapted toilets, showers, catering services, nautical hire, a sports area, lockers and volleyball nets.
