What it is like
Playa La Cueva is an urban beach of black sand located beside the port of San Sebastián de La Gomera. Its 350-metre length and 60-metre width form a beach with medium occupancy, calm waters, a semi-urban frontage, a seafront promenade and vegetation. The setting forms part of a Biosphere Reserve, while the proximity of the marina reinforces its coastal and urban character. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with parking, interurban bus service and adapted access. Facilities include showers, cleaning, litter bins, a tourist office and a nautical club.
