Playa Coira is an extensive urban beach of white sand extending right up to the port of Portosín. Its 700-metre length and 20-metre width form an elongated coastal strip with a seafront promenade, high occupancy and moderate waves. The continuity between beach and port is the feature that best defines its landscape and relationship with the urban centre. Access is easy on foot or by car, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and an interurban bus service 0.5 kilometres away; it also has toilets, showers, food services and cleaning.
