Playa Canyamel combines a white-sand beach with a semi-urban setting comprising an urban coastal frontage, vegetation and a protected natural area. Its 300 metres of length and 80 metres of width form a broad beach with high occupancy and moderate waves, beside a seafront promenade. It is easy to reach on foot or by car via the Ma-4040, with interurban transport and adapted access for people with reduced mobility. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, cleaning, food and drink establishments and water-sports equipment hire, as well as a tourist office.
