Playa Cala Major is an urban white-sand beach set against a coastal cliff frontage and located in one of the tourist areas around Palma. Its 200 metres of length and 80 metres of width form a broad space with calm waters and high occupancy. The facilities include food and drink establishments, showers, sun lounger, parasol and water-sports equipment hire, as well as a sports area. It can be reached on foot, by car or by boat, with adapted access and an urban bus service.
