What it is like
Playa Cala Alcaufar is a small semi-urban beach of white sand, just 30 metres long and 55 metres wide, opening onto a cliff frontage. Its calm waters and medium occupancy combine with several anchorage points for boats, a notable feature of this cove. Access includes the GR-223, the Camí de Cavalls, and it can also be reached by car or on foot, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus service.
