What it is like
Playa Balerma retains a strong seafaring tradition and extends as a long urban frontage for 2,090 metres. It is 40 metres wide, and the shore combines dark-coloured sand and gravel, with moderate swell and usual wind. The seafront promenade and range of services, including a yacht club, catering, sports and children’s games, structure the use of the beach. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the AL-9036; there are more than 100 parking spaces, an urban bus and an accessible point with adapted assistance.
