What it is like
In San Vicente del Mar, Playa A Barrosa offers a semi-urban beach of white sand, 130 metres long and 40 metres wide. Its surroundings combine a promenade and vegetation with protection under the Natura 2000 network, within an area of medium occupancy. The waves are moderate and the coast can be windy. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the road from O Grove to San Vicente; the wooden promenade, showers and food outlets add convenience.
