What it is like
Playa de Paramós, also called Areeiros, is an isolated beach on the Miño river upstream from Tui and surrounded by agricultural land. Its profile combines an exceptional width of 104 metres with 100 metres of length, among white sand, dunes and vegetation. Red Natura 2000 protects this space, with calm waters and medium occupancy. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the PO-404; the car park has fewer than 50 spaces and there are toilets, showers and litter bins.
