What it is like
Playa de los Martos combines the scale of a very long beach, 900 metres long and 75 metres wide, with a dune setting and an isolated character. The sand is golden and the beach forms part of a Natural Park, where the stated visitor level is low. Its usual conditions are windy with moderate surf, and nudism is included in the listing. It is easily reached on foot from El Cotillo or via urban bus routes 6 and 7. Facilities are limited to bins and cleaning service.
