What it is like
Playa de Les Anquines is an artificial beach in Sitges, created as a service area for Hotel Terramar and recognisable by its two crab-shaped breakwaters. This arrangement protects it from storms and forms an urban beach of golden sand, 160 metres long and 50 metres wide, with calm waters and high occupancy. Access is easy on foot or by car, with urban and interurban routes and regulated blue-zone parking. It also has adapted bathing facilities, cleaning, nautical-hire services and a nautical club.
