What it is like
Playa de las Arenas occupies an isolated and attractive stretch of the coast of Val de San Vicente, beside which there is a campsite that accounts for a large proportion of its visitors. The beach is 200 metres long and 15 metres wide, combining golden sand and rounded stones below a cliff frontage. The listing notes wind and strong swell, as well as high visitor numbers. Access is difficult on foot from the CA-380, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and an interurban bus service. It has cleaning services and danger signage.
