What it is like
Playa de la Perola, also known as La Nova, is an urban and artificial beach in Roses, with a strip of fine golden sand 450 metres long and 20 metres wide. The paved seafront promenade accompanies an urban frontage with vegetation and an anchorage area, while the waters are usually calm, although there may be wind. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the C-260, with more than 100 parking spaces. Practical facilities include showers, food establishments, water-sports hire, a sailing club and a children's area.
