What it is like
Playa de la Entrada forms at the mouth of the Niembro estuary and offers a small shore of white sand and calm waters. It measures 50 metres long and 48 metres wide, in a semi-urban mountainous frontage with vegetation, within the Paisaje Protegido de la Costa Oriental and a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Visitor numbers are low. Access is signposted and by car from the N-634; the listing records no specific facilities, although it links the beach to the Llanes marina.
