What it is like
Es Racó de S'Alga is the largest of the three beaches on Illa d'Espalmador, next to Formentera. Isolated and protected as an Área Natural de Especial Interés and Parque Natural, it extends for 1,000 metres with a width of 20 metres, between white sand, dunes and vegetation. Its waters are calm and there is an anchorage, features typical of this island site. Access is by boat; as practical facilities, it offers litter bins, cleaning, food and first aid during the summer season.
