What it is like
Es Caragol is an isolated cove near the lighthouse of Cabo Salinas, with an extensive shore of fine white sand. Its 500 metres of length and 60 metres of width extend in front of dunes and vegetation, within an area protected as an Área Natural de Especial Interés. Occupancy is recorded as medium and the waves are usually moderate. It can be reached on foot or by boat; one access route begins near the lighthouse and the other crosses the Sa Vall estate with its administrator’s authorisation.
