What it is like
Playa de Encoradoira, also called Ancoradouro, combines white sand and rock at the foot of a cliff frontage in Cabo Udra. Its 100 metres of length and 7 metres of width form an isolated beach covered with vegetation and protected as Espacio Natural and Red Natura 2000, with customary strong waves and wind. Access has been restored and is easy on foot or by car from the PO-315; beside the car park there is a picnic area and fewer than 50 spaces. It also has foot-washing facilities, litter bins and cleaning.
