What it is like
Playa del Parchel is an urban beach 357 metres long and 18 metres wide, formed by rounded stones and gravel, a surface that is not very comfortable for bathing. The urban frontage and medium occupancy contrast with strong waves, while a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) lies 500 metres offshore. Access is easy on foot or by car from the GC-500, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and several bus routes. It is also adapted for people with reduced mobility.
