What it is like
Playa del Medio is a very extensive and completely isolated beach in Granadilla de Abona: its 1,150-metre length unfolds in a strip of rock and gravel barely 16 metres wide. The cliff-fronted coast and protection as Natural Habitats of Community interest, together with the vegetation, form a little-developed landscape. Visitor numbers are low and moderate waves accompany this coastal stretch. It is easily reached on foot and interurban transport reaches the surroundings, although no beach facilities are indicated.
