What it is like
Playa del Espejo is an urban beach on the Mar Menor measuring 800 metres in length and 40 metres in width. Its fine, dark sand, gentle slope and calm waters form part of an urban frontage with a promenade and vegetation. Access is easy on foot, by car or by boat, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and an urban bus service. Practical facilities include toilets, foot showers, catering, hire of sun loungers, parasols and nautical equipment, a yacht club, a children's area and adapted access.
