What it is like
Playa del Bocal is an isolated beach in Santander, small in size and situated beneath a cliff frontage. Its 200 metres in length and 10 metres in width offer golden sand, moderate swell and low occupancy, in a setting with few facilities. It is reached by car from the S-20 and available parking has fewer than 50 spaces; an interurban bus is also listed. The beach has containers, cleaning, danger signage and first aid, with lifeguarding recorded for weekends.
