What it is like
Cala Urgell opens within the protected area of the Macizo de la Ardenya, between cliffs and in a natural setting with vegetation. It is an isolated pebble beach with low occupancy, 150 metres long and 10 metres wide. Access is via a narrow, difficult path crossing a valley and requiring approximately 15 minutes of descent to the sea. The entrance is beside the viewpoint on the road from Sant Feliu to Tossa de Mar.
