What it is like
Cala Tamarells, also known as Tamarells d'es Nort, is an isolated beach of golden sand on a mountainous frontage, measuring 110 metres long and 25 metres wide. Its rustic character and low occupancy are linked to a lengthy approach along dirt tracks, either on foot or in a vehicle equipped for this terrain. The route forms part of the GR-223, Camí de Cavalls, and the Me-5 road serves as a reference. The beach forms part of an Area of Natural Interest and Natural Park, and nudism is permitted.
