What it is like
Cala Macarella is a broad, isolated cove recognised for the whiteness of its sand and its crystal-clear waters. It measures 105 metres in length and 75 metres in width, with a mountainous, vegetated and protected frontage. Its usual waters are calm, although occupancy is recorded as high. Access is on foot or by car via the Sant Joan de Misas road, with free public parking for more than 100 vehicles 500 metres away; catering and nautical equipment hire are also available.
