Cala d'Es Jonc is in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja, in the Balearic Islands, and is a very isolated cove 40 metres long and 10 metres wide. Its surface consists of pebbles and gravel, with a mountainous coastal frontage. The surroundings feature pines and junipers, within a landscape described as natural. Access is on foot along a difficult section, especially on the final descent, so the record associates it with advanced excursionists. The nearest road is the PM-811, and the site has a medium-height cliff.
